Our initiatives are thoughtfully designed to foster meaningful connections, cultivate supportive relationships, and provide opportunities for social, emotional, and personal growth. By encouraging interaction and shared experiences, we help residents build friendships and a sense of belonging that lasts a lifetime.
We prioritize accessibility, respect, and engagement in all that we do, ensuring that every individual feels at home and empowered. HOPE NC strives to make each person an integral part of a caring, vibrant community, where their contributions are recognized and celebrated.
Transforming Community Living
Through our work, HOPE NC seeks to redefine the concept of housing as more than just a place to live–it's a true community experience. Inclusion, compassion, and belonging are at the heart of everything we do, creating environments where everyone can flourish together.
IDEAL Community
IDEAL Communities are accessible, affordable, intergenerational communities of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, older adults and families that foster social connection and inclusion.
Inclusive Community with Community Facilitator
HOPE NC envisions a community where people with and without disabilities, can live as neighbors. A Community Facilitator helps foster connections, provide support, and build a culture of mutual care and inclusion.
Current Communities
We currently have three pilot communities in the Triangle: North Street Community (Durham), Grosvenor Gardens (Raleigh), and Weavers Grove (Chapel Hill).
